1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Yaaam, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Yaaam is an AI-powered calorie and macronutrient tracking app. The app allows you to:

• Log meals using text descriptions or photos
• Receive AI-generated nutritional estimates
• Track daily calorie and macro intake
• Monitor weight over time
• Set personalized nutrition goals

3. Account Registration

To use Yaaam, you must create an account using Apple Sign In or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and onboarding.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Yaaam Pro

Yaaam offers a premium subscription ("Yaaam Pro") that unlocks photo-based meal logging with AI analysis.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account account via the App Store
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

Free Trial

• Yaaam Pro Yearly includes a 7-day free trial
• If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription
• Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Cancellation

• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account account settings or through the app's subscription management screen
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the date of the price change. Your continued use of the subscription after the price change constitutes your agreement to pay the new price.

5. AI-Generated Nutritional Information

Disclaimer

Yaaam uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional content of meals. These estimates are not guaranteed to be accurate. Nutritional values provided by the app are approximations and should not be relied upon as precise measurements.

Not Medical Advice

Yaaam is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. The calorie and macronutrient calculations are based on general formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor equation) and population-level guidelines. They are estimates only.

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have medical conditions, food allergies, eating disorders, or specific dietary requirements.

Limitation of Liability for Nutritional Data

We are not responsible for any health consequences resulting from dietary decisions made based on information provided by the app. You use the nutritional information at your own risk.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app's systems or other users' accounts
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to transmit malware or other harmful code
• Abuse the AI analysis feature by submitting inappropriate or non-food content

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of Yaaam are the intellectual property of the app's developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without prior written consent.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos and text you submit to the app. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process your content (photos and text) through third-party AI services solely for the purpose of providing nutritional analysis.

9. Privacy

Your use of Yaaam is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Yaaam is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Nutritional estimates will be accurate or complete
• The app will meet your specific requirements
• Defects will be corrected in a timely manner

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, health consequences, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the app.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

14. GDPR and European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are detailed in our Privacy Policy. This includes your rights to access, rectify, delete, and port your personal data, as well as information about the legal basis for processing and international data transfers.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer in the EEA, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
